This was at one time the most controversial of the ChronoRadio episodes. This edition features a discussion on fan fiction, fan films, and slash in relation to Lucasfilm (a topic I became interested in after reading Using the Force) and the “love it or hate it” look at the current Star Wars publishing trend of reusing or perpetuating older stories and publications instead of opening new vistas of storytelling. The publishing trends topic provided the basis for Chaz LiBretto’s critique of the episode to which I respond in the next episode.
