This episode came about as the first of the so-called Supplemental Editions when I realized that I had a lot of callbacks that I wanted to discuss on ChronoRadio and had an opening for our first live guest, but I wasn’t anywhere close to December. So, instead of waiting around or missing the opportunity, I chose to create a method of allowing for episodes on “off months,” without having to commit to a monthly schedule again. This episode featured Kris Newsom, best known for Prelude to Hope and Second Strike, as the first on-air guest. We recorded the segment by talking over cellphones from Georgia and California, with both of us recording our ends of the conversation. Kris then sent me an mp3 of his half, which I mixed with mine, and the rest is history. Obviously, it was a new idea, so I decided not to try having a guest for the full episode.
