Betrayed Federation

Betrayed Federation is divided into thirty-one chapters, which can be downloaded in five ZIP files, and runs less than 45 minutes. Most of the chapters run between thirty seconds and two minutes in length.

An assassination attempt on the new Trade Federation Viceroy by a Mandalorian warrior sends two Jedi scurrying to find answers and protect the Viceroy from danger.

The voice acting is done very well, and the script flows well. The Neimoidians' accents are done well. Overall, the mix of voices, sound effects, and background noises is done pretty well. From time to time, the voices drop down in volume, making it difficult to understand them over the background noise. Background music comes in from time to time and is the standard Star Wars music. Breaking up each individual chapter into an audio file, running between thirty seconds and over six minutes, is a good idea, making it easier to record onto a playable CD. Hopefully, more producers of long audio dramas (and radio shows) will think about using it in the future.

With the exception of the small problem with voice levels, this is a very good fan production. I look forward to listening to some of their non-Star Wars material.
