Butler has been a prominent member of the "Star Wars fan audio genre" since 2002, producing several amateur audio dramas (including the first Star Wars fan audio drama on the internet, Second Strike) and hosting and/or producing several online fan-made radio shows (including the fan-favorite ChronoRadio), alongside maintaining Star Wars Fanworks: The Home of Star Wars Fan Audio and The Star Wars Timeline Gold. He has been previously published in Dark Horse Comics' Star Wars comic book series Star Wars Tales (his story, Equals and Opposites, can be found in Star Wars Tales #21, Star Wars Tales Vol. 6, or in a Hasbro "Comic Pack" to be released in 2009), and his work can be found in an article on the Star Wars chronology in The Star Wars Super Collector's Wish Book, 4th Edition. He has also previously self-published a novella, Echoes, which can be found in both print and online audiobook formats.
