WARS and More Preorders Begin

During November and December, we announced that several Fanworks and Star Wars fan audio community members were crossing over into writing, sound design, composition, and voice acting roles on professional projects for Grail Quest Books. We are now able to bring you up to speed a bit more on those projects and a great preorder offer that is taking place right now.

First, Grail Quest Books has issued a press release to reveal some of the details about the WARS novellas by Nathan P. Butler, Jim Perry, and Sean E. Williams (with the former two writers being prominent Star Wars fan audio community members). Among those facts revealed is the very basic concepts behind both, including their main protagonists: Earther captain Rogan Hallard, well-known Maverick Jack Wilgress, and Gongen hero Hijen Orochito, respectively.

Second, we can now confirm that each WARS novella will feature approximately 120 story pages and 10 full-color lithograph images, making them similar in style to the Dark Horse Comics Star Wars: Dark Forces graphic novellas from several years ago.

Finally, the big news: A Major preorder offer is taking place right now, wherein visitors can prepurchase special preorder-only incentive versions of each of Grail Quest Books' current projects. These include each WARS novella (at $20 each), the first three-issue story arc in the tie-in WARS comic book series ($15), the four-issue Stitched Crosses comic book mini-series ($20), the three-issue Shadow of the Stars: Advent comic book mini-series ($15), and a special preorder offer for those who purchase either the Stitched Crosses or Shadow of the Stars: The Prince of the Universe audio dramas (with music composition and sound design by Joe Harrison, along with voice acting by well-known Star Wars fan audio community members).
