Perry and Butler to Host WARS Fiction Podcast

While there is not an official press release just yet, we are pleased to announce yet another effort between Star Wars podcasters Nathan P. Butler and Jim Perry in conjunction with Grail Quest Books.

When Decipher launched the WARS franchise with its trading card game in October 2004, it was accompanied by a series of free short stories, including several written by noted Star Wars (and other sci-fi) author Michael Stackpole. Those stories have, for a while now, been available on the Grail Quest Books website.

Later this year, in preparation for the release of the WARS novellas by Nathan P. Butler, Sean E. Williams, and Jim Perry, Butler and Perry will be hosting a new series of podcasts that will include dramatic readings (audiobook style) of many of these original WARS short stories. The readings themselves will be done by several notable podcasters and podiobook authors, along with special appearances by Michael Stackpole to read some of his entries in the series. Perry will act as the overall host of the series, while Butler will provide insight into the canon of the WARS universe as it relates to each story.
