Gilbertson Character Gets Figured

Following close on the heels of the Hasbro announcement of characters for Nathan P. Butler's Star Wars Tales #21, we have learned that another fan audio community member has had something he created for Star Wars "officialdom" produced as a new action figure as well!

Andrew Gilbertson (prolific voice actor, co-host of A Long Time Ago Radio, and producer of the upcoming Star Wars: Marvels audio drama series) took part in StarWars.com's old What's the Story? contest as a Hyperspace member, eventually earning the distinction of having a previously unnamed Ewok character named using his entry. The name Andrew submitted, Leektar, became the official name for the character, and now that character is being released in a two-pack (along with the Ewok character Nipet) as part of Hasbro's "Legacy, Vol. I" action figure line.
