ConCarolinas 2009: Remidner and Twitter Coverage

ConCarolinas 2009 is being held this weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina. Fans of Star Wars fan audio will find several familiar "big name" faces in the current fan audio community, including: Nathan P. Butler; Jim Perry; Joe Harrison; Andrew Gilbertson; and Sarah Gilbertson (formerly knwon under the pseudonym "Silas Carder").

Butler will be able to be found on several scheduled panels: "Fan Media in All Its Forms" (Friday at 4:00 p.m.); "Podcasting 101" (Friday at 8:00 p.m.); "For the Love of Star Wars" (Saturday at 10:00 a.m.); "Promoting Your Podcast" (Saturday at noon); and "So Say We All" (Saturday at 1:00 p.m.). Butler will be present for the Friday and Saturday events this weekend.

Perry should be active all weekend, likely jumping up to join panels as necessary throughout the weekend. The same will likely be said for Harrison and the Gilbertsons, but they will only be present for the Saturday events of CC '09.

Currently, there are three items scheduled to be recorded at the convention (though not as part of the convention), alongside panel recordings and the like. Those include: an interview with Butler regarding Second Strike for The Adventures of Indiana Jim; a roundtable episode of Christianese Radio; and a new Butlerniverse on the state of Star Wars fan audio. (The latter is a possibility, rather than a certainty.) It is also likely (planned) that the five will engage in Star Wars Trivial Pursuit with some form of recorded material, but what that material will be is unknown.
