Social Media Updates

With a few changes behind us this week, we wanted to take a moment to update visitors on what's happening with Fanworks (and Star Wars Timeline Gold) social media at the moment.

First, Fanworks has "moved beyond" MySpace, as it no longer seemed to be serving the community in a useful fashion. As such, the MySpace group for the site has been deleted, as has Fanworks founder Nathan P. Butler's own MySpace page.

Second, if you do wish to link up with Butler or a Fanworks group on a social networking website, Facebook is currently the preferred site for doing so. Butler has a page there (as do many others in the community, Fanworks has a group there, and The Star Wars Timeline Gold now has its own page there as well (as do many of the podcasts featured on Fanworks).

Third, many in the community also currently use Twitter. The Twitter username for the Fanworks founder is "swfanworks" (for Nathan P. Butler).

Finally, you will, at times, find notes and thoughts on Star Wars fan audio on both of Nathan P. Butler's blogs, linked below.
