Long before the premiere of Second Strike in 2002 that marked the beginning of fan-made Star Wars audio dramas on the internet, before even the production of audio parody The Adventures of the Galactic Star Force Power Squad in 1993 that had long been thought the earliest Star Wars fan audio production produced after the end of the Bantha Tracks Creativity Contests, there was the NHP Star Wars universe. NHP (Newbold-Hicks Productions) was a pair of teenage Star Wars fans, Mark Newbold and Jonathan Hicks, who decided to branch off from a series of comedy audio productions they had been producing to instead create original fan-made Star Wars audio dramas. In all, between 1986 and 1987, the duo completed twenty such adventures on audio cassette. Unfortunately, the entire NHP archive was lost in a residential move in 1990. Its legacy remains, though, as Newbold has launched Setnin Radio, a fan-made radio show. Here, we pay tribute to this early audio drama endeavor with a catalog of its many adventures, sorted chronologically by recording date.
