Fan Audio Parody: a work of fan-created parody or satire, regardless of setting, presented exclusively through the use of sound. These can be comedic tales, spoofs, or even overall storylines told exclusively through music.

Parodies have been around for years, and no one can really say where the genre began. Visibly, Stormtrooper Bob was the most well known early fan audio parody on the internet. Both Star Wars: The Radio Play and The Adventures of the Galactic Star Force Power Squad both predated it by several years, however.

Projects in the tables below are listed alphabetically. Most pages provide a direct link and/or podcast feed address from which to download files, while a few are Fanworks-hosted and have direct downloads available from the page.

* Episode III: The Abridged Script is a standalone fan audio parody by the creators of the podcast series GeekOn. You can find it on their website, but you'll have to dig for it. They are not affiliated with Fanworks at this point, as the overall podcast feed is not Star Wars-related. This was a one-time side production.
